I usually stick to some variation on the classic eyeliner moustache theme for Halloween and so for Mister G's first Halloween, and the corresponding fancy dress day at nursery, we figured why not keep with tradition.
We had planned for tiny beatnik and sourced the black trou and poloneck accordingly (H&M). But in the heat of the we're-late-we're-late-where-the-hell-is-my-oystercard moment on Wednesday morning, transforming a shoe bag into a swag sack with a sharpied dollar sign seemed, on balance, a more achievable goal than making up a new Kerouac's Beatniking for Babies cover to his wild things pram book. So, tiny catburglar it was.
And here's a selection of eyeliner moustaches from my pre-baby days. Presented without comment.
Yeah. okay. I used to have both time and wine on my hands.

Amazing! Both baby cat burglar and moustache collage. I totally have not experimented with eyeliner moustaches enough in my life. I think I now know how I'll be spending my Saturday night : )
