I like this one, my sweet blue-eyed boy.

This morning Mister G woke early (luckily for me it was PA's turn to wake up with him and mine to lie in) and by the time it was my turn to take over he was happy but a little tired. You know how they'll play and then lie down for a few seconds and then get up and start again?  His bedroom gets the morning light and he likes to climb up on the bed to look out at the magpies in the garden (a pair, a pair, two for our joy.)

This week G has been sorting all the shapes in his (incredibly annoying, noise making) animal puzzle and has worked out how to get the little pop-up spring men to jump when he pokes them.  He still likes to dance (and Gotye still puts him in suspended animation) and has started to copy things you do the first time, not ever having been much of a copier until now.  

His hair is longer than ever and so crazy in the mornings. We're not ready for a haircut yet, so clip the fringe to one side, practicality winning out over boy stereotyping.  

He would rather eat the food on our plates than his own, points at every dog on a walk and enjoys stamping his feet in puddles.
