Dark // Light

half the lights in our living room have blown out, giving everything a weird off kilter shadow vibe. And my new favourite entertainment for G when he's fussy is to run about the flat (the quicker the better) with him on my hip, screeching to a halt for his poking finger to jab at each lightswitch as I shout 'ON!' or 'OFF!' as appropriate.

ON!
OFF!
which way? that way?
I wish I had better quality phone pictures, but I struggle when there's not daylight (as I hate how the flash makes everything look) and I like the gist of the pictures anyway. I'd like to make a far better hash of them.
I'm considering a new year's resolution of actually learning to use PA's camera at least in a basic way if I can.
(gasp. what's next? using photoshop instead of MSPaint?!)

  1. I recommend this to everyone - my friend Lauren did a really handy series of photography tips. They're super basic and easy to follow, and really helped me get to grips with the manual settings on my (fairly rubbish) camera.

  2. I'm laughing at the idea of you tearing around screaming on .... off. No wonder the boy loves it! Kellie xx

  4. Also, NightCap is a great night time photo app for the phone. You might find it useful...
