Winter is HERE

it's been a pretty light amount of snow that settled here over the weekend, but there was enough of a resurgence overnight on Saturday that by Sunday morning we were able to take G out to the park to experience his first proper snowfall.

He seemed to enjoy it (up until he got tired and started falling over. He's not a fan of snow in the face, but then who is, really?)  PA and I amused ourselves attempting a snowball fight (PA handicapped by the pushchair, me by my inability to throw anything in even vaguely the direction I'm aiming for).  G seemed determined to join the geese and gulls in the duckpond even attempting to drop down and backslide between his dad's legs into the water. Luckily PA is pretty quick too.

PS. you win a prize if you can spot how many birds we inadvertently caught in flight above. weird.

  2. So... the scottish blood won out! Well done Mr G! He definitely looks like he was enjoying it...(my 2 did, until they had to come in and remembered how cold they were now that they weren't having fun anymore and had to remove their sodden clothes.) Where did you go..? That lake looks pretty impressive. x

    1. Ha! It did! It's astonishing how quickly it goes from MOST FUN EVVVVAR! to I WANT TO BE INSIDE 5 MINUTES AGO!
We went to Kensington Gardens - most of the photos are from the duck pond in front of the Palace and there are a couple of a half frozen Serpentine. Too pretty in the snow :)
