Sick Days Schmick Days

I've been laid up the last few days with a miserable stomach flu, spending my first few days out of the office alternating between lying very still in bed, lying very still on the sofa and hanging out in the bathroom. Funny fun times. And doesn't it seem like toddlers never have more energy than when you're sick? Poor kiddo, I've not been much fun.

He's been out at nursery today and I've been indulging in comfort DVD watching - it was a toss up between Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Battlestar Gallactica - I chose Buffy this time as I'm horribly susceptible to the BSG bingewatch (have you seen the Portlandia sketch? It was a lot like that when I first saw it).

I unashamedly love the Buffy Once More With Feeling musical episode (and slightly more ashamedly enjoy the Season 6 darkness).

Fingers crossed the Hellmouth is now closed (too much?) and we can get out and about tomorrow.
