Happy Valentine's Day happy people. 

We don't really celebrate this (at all. In fact, high on life after my favourite of the religious holidays on Tuesday, I offered to make romantic heart shaped pancakes for breakfast this morning and was rebuffed. Sure, there may have been an ulterior nutella based motive for my offer, but still. Pshh.) - it falls so soon after our anniversary of meeting on 29 January that it seems kind of overkill. Plus I hate spending more on food just because menus have hearts on them and you can share a room with a load of couples on the spectrum between making out and heavy silence. Fun!

Still, I'm full of the love (read: pancakes and nutella) and thought it an appropriate moment to use my new favourite photo: a licheny heart on a concrete fence post at the village swings.
